Prague is everything we expected it to be, the buildings are all old and with a unique style that we havent seen anywhere else. The night life has definitly lived up to expectation with a 4 story dance club that we have gone to twice. We are staying only a few blocks from the old square and have exploed penty there. Yesterday we did all of charles bridge and the prague castle although many of the catherdrals have been closed due to concerts for music. Tomorrow we are going to the musuem of communism randall but im sorry i cant send any money your way cuz im alrady ove budget hows the life and the house going there in zapallar? For everyone who wants to see pictures i dont believe there will be any more posted but its all good cuz joaquin is going to make a bombayyy dvd for all of us to watch when we get back. Hey everyonessss.. We are in Vienna. The city is beautifull and we checked out Hofburg palace, as well as the cathedral. INSANE! And Kieserburg, where all the Kaisers were buried. Today we saw an extrodinary palace called Schloss Schonrunn, we did the mazes and the zoo, saw tigers, jaguars, ect. And just walked around. BOSSY PLACE!!!! Tomorrow we are checking out Oberes belvedere then we are off to prague. We found out the train ride to prague should be about 4.5 hrs sooooo we´ll be there around 6 ish. Love Emilio Joaquin

Well we reserched the flights and trains from zagreb, rijeka and the capital of slovania there are no flights we could take and all the train rides are over 11 hrs so the final plan will be to take an 8 hr train ride on the 24th to vienna and then a train to prague. we would have rather gone to croatia but it is to much of a hastle there will always be another trip and vienna looks like a nice city to check out.

Change of plans

Okay so yesterday on our way to bari to take the ferri to dubrovnik the trains were all booked. The traveling would have been very long two 2 h train rides and a 8-9 ferry ride so we have a new plan, a bit more economical. Guess what, we are in Florence right now we are on our way to Venice and from there we have 2 ideas. the one we are leaning towards is going to Vienna from Venice then to Prague. the other one would be to go to Rijeka in the north of Croatia and hit up some islands then go to Prague from there, but we dont know anything about the area and it is not in our lonely planet book. So as of now it will be Venice for a couple nights then Vienna and prague. So let me know what yall think. Bed bugs are doing better and the wounds are healing. much love

Hey everyone, its Joaquin. I'm sick. I have the flue. I have bed bugs bites all over my body. It itches like crazy. Hostel rooms with 8 people in a room like mine at moms will do that to you. Mom, Dad anything i can do. I went to the farmacy and they gave me a cream and some pills to take. I neeeed help!! I'll survive though. My arms are covered, stomach, back, legs it sucks. amalfi coast trip

Amalfi has been truely incredible, we spent all our nights at a hostel here in sorrento where we loved it, weve been here with shannon the whole time and experienced alot. We spent a day at capri which was freaking awesome, joaquin was hungover for the day so he spent capri at the beach. Me, shannon and these two aussi girls we met took a tour around the island and then went inside the grotto azurra, OMG that was something else and we also got to go swimming in it which most dont get to do, although we were charged 10 euros each it was the best swim of my life. The following day we rented 2 scooters between the 3 of us to ride around in. It was an awesome beginning riding through the widing roads overlooking these steep cliffs, joaqun started drving first with me on the back then i drove for a while until we came around this and the goped slid out from underneath us. We took a spill going about 10-15 km per hr and i got the worst of it but at least it saved the bike. We turned them in today and they didnt say anything about the few scrathes it had on it. The scraps for me are a bitch to deal with but hey thats life. We will send some pics of the injury and the nice shots of amalfi when we can. Anyways we hoped right back on the bikes and headed for positano but a fire had closed off the roads to positano and amalfi so we wont be seeing those towns, instead we find the really cool little town to hangout at, the marina was called marina de campone. WE hugnout there for awhile then drove to a few other spots until coming back home. Also i buzzed my hair and joaquin got his normal hair cut, i like the buzz though and its way nicer to have in the heat. Today we went to Meta, and me and shannon found this little arch that the water had carved in the rock and we also found some rock jumping, meta was cool little spot but no tourists there, it was the italian getaway. We have had awesome meals at this restaraunt down by the marina here in sorrento and have definitly lived it up here. tomorrow we leave to dubrovnik whcih will be a lonnngg travel day so until then

Hey everyone! It's J talkin. So yesterday we slept in untill 1 -2 because we went to a PUB CRAWL!! It was awesome we paid 20 bucks and the group met a the Spanish Steps, there was about 130 of us in the crawl. We walked to the first pub and we got as beer as you can drink from 9 -10 plus some DANK! pizza. After we went to the second bar and as you came in they gave you a shot. Danced for a little bit, then it was off to another bar with another shot upon entry. And then it was another bar, and finally the Discoteque. It was a fun little night. We got a shirt 2. I came, I saw, i crawled!!!! JAJA So we woke up the day after 1-2 and got some food at the market and we were sitting in the computer and emilio goes 'oh dude i messaged shannon(australian friend from sevilla madrid and barcelona) and he might meet us in sorrento. And little did you know the hostel owner yells coming in the door 'joaquin look whos here, and i'm like dude omg is it like my mom or andy or something, emilio said the same thing. And Shannon crawls up, we are like wattttttttt. So he told us all about switserland and how he went skydiving and bungee jumping and such. So we went to see the Colussium ,CraZYYYYYYYYY it is unbeliavable. Shit... Its crazy how much history that place has. Ps- emilio saw the gladiator here in the hostel before yesterday , so he was pumped. jaja Anyways so we went out again last night with the wholeeeee hostel to the same restourant as last time and had another 5 course meal, dude soooooo dank. So much wine!!!!.. you will see pictures. It changed a little we had in the group this time German Girls English girls New people from Canada ect. After the we walked to got some DRANK! and walked to to this park about 10 blocks up the hill from our hostel that overlooks alll of Rome. It was awesome. Like the australians say 'Everyone was pissed' jaja.. fun night. Anyways we decided we are staying one more night here in Rome so that Shannon can see everything today. And we are heading down to Sorronto to the beach tomorrow early in the morning. We booked the best hostel right next to the beach with a bar and it says that if you are staying at the hostel it also brings you free entrnce to one of the best clubs there sooooo... should be cool. Emilio is still sleeping jaja.. I wish you could have seen us last night.. Me after getting back.. i was on the ground crawling.. feeling like shit and emilio and shannon laughing and the owner of the hostel came in and was like wat the fuck!!! jaja... good stuff... You guys we have so much fotos it crazy, we've made sooo much contacts here in rome its amazing this hostel is tight! Will Agustin Andrew prob, Recomend this plce big time!!!!! Our first great Meal + Fun night out

Hello everyone!! So last night we went out on 5 course meal with everyone from the hostel. Really a cool group. The owner organized it. He knew the owner of a restourant real close by. All the dinner 20 euros. It was a great deal. Check out the pictures!!! Yesterday we tourded all day. It was really cool to see all these famous places. We saw, St. Peters Bascillica, Panthion, Trevy Fountain, Spanish Steps and a lot of walking around, so we really got to know the streets. Last night was awesome we got some bottles inbetween all of us after dinner and had some DRANK! Fun night!! We had people in the group, from = Ireland = England = Australians = Canada = Spain ... awesome group lots of fun !! Hope you like the shots... We didnt get anysleep last night so we are gonna hang out/nap and then we are off to see the sisteenth chappel and the collusium. Much love Joaquin

Hello everybody. We have some certain issues we wanted to discuss. We are struggling on the 35 euros per day. What that gives us is hostel money and money to buy food at the supermarket, which is all good and gravy, but i feel like its limiting our cite seeing a little bit. Anyways Papa i wanted to let you know that you will probably have to put in money again tomorrow because we booked one night in Rome and when we get there tonight we are booking 3 nights at another hostel so any money asap would be great. Just a little bit more would help if you want use some of my money that i got from reading the book i just want to be more relaxed on the money thing. Joaquin seems to be more stressed out and is having a harder time going to spend money on the cite seeing. I myself have done a little bit more and now im going to go see pallazo pitti. take care Emilio

Hello everyone! We werent able to reach internet for the past 3 days or so but now we are in Florence and found a place. Barcelona was a lot of fun, we stayed with Shannon from Australia and hit the beach and sights. I went to La Sagrada Familia, the cathedral and the olympic site which was really really cool. The whole area was up on a hill and overlooked all of the city. After Barcelona we were off to La Cinque Terra, a paradise of its own truely. We had a blast there, super relaxing. We stayed in Riomaggiore 2 nights and did a run to Cornogelio. On our way back we hit up some jump sites on Mandora, the city next to Riomaggiore. We beached it basically all day and did some snorkeling as well, joaquin for his first time. We saw a lot of cool fish and enjoyed the warm, clear water. A really nice turn around form the touristy Barcelona. We took a train to Pisa and saw the leaning tower as well as the cathedrala nd dome next to it, for me that was a trip to see after seeing so many photos of it, most in Freebirds. Pisa was a nice little stop we spent roughly 4 hrs there and we are now in Florence. We just visited the piazza del Ufizzi or something like that and we are going to Duomo after this. I hope all is well and we are still waiting on a legit computer to post photos. We will try to post some here.

Hey everyone... sooo we are in our last days of Barcelona.. we leave on friday morining to Italy. Barcelona has been a blast. Beach, Beach and more beach. Its a huge city. Ive fallen in love with all these places. Me and E wana be back here in 2 yrs hopefully studing abroad or something. Um we sat down and had an awesome meal the other day thanks to Javo and Celia!!! Gambas al ajillo .... Very gooddd.... buttt Javo i have to say the ones we make at home are pretty darn good. We´ve been clubbin almost everynight. Last night was our night off. I must say the night life here is crazyy. No pictures all these computers dont allow you to download pics. So we have 2 more nights here at the Pension Dali in Barcelona and then we are going to contact alexs friend tomorrow. There is a ryanair flight that leaves on 6th at 6 45 in the morning but the airport isnt in barcelona and i dont believe eurail goes to the other city that the airport is in but im sure alexs friend will have more information on it. The total cost will be 102 euros for the 2 of us after the tickets, taxes and traveling to another country cost. The flight will take us into Milan and from there we will go to La Chinquitierra but i forget which of the 5 cities is best to stay so if someone who knows could let me know i can book a hostel and if the plane idea sounds good let me know as well if not it would be by ferry and i would need help getting tickets for that. So let me know whats good.

Spain is amazing and yes im alive and im not partying that hard joaquin is fucking with you guys. Malaga was a looottt of fun we stayed with meghans older sister who i know very well, sarah. We spent 3 nights there at her aprt with her roommates becuase they are all studying abroad. It was really nice to ahve a place to stay and we finally got to hit up the beach and swim in the meditteranean. We visited this old castle there that was super old and took a tour of it and we also checked out the picasso museum because malaga is where he grew up. We were sad to leave but you have to move on and we took a train here to madrid for the night and today we leave for barcelona so you guys can stop tripping on that. we didnt make it to granada because there werent any train rides that went there from malaga and we werent feelin taking a bus. But in the long run it will give us more time to make to croatia and definitly corfu. Mom im going to call you soon no worries. I hope all is well and Will stop fuckin up with cars man, first you get it suspended for 6 months and then you and augustin take joaquins car..not smart man. Your gonna here from him augustin. But on the good note ball till you fall 3-1 is legit. i hope all is well in sb, mom out of all the things you packed in our bathroom kit the one thing i need the most is some anit-itch mosquitos are killllinn me. Im looking forward to barcelona beach, women, dance till the morning. Spain by far has the most beautiful women ive seen in any of my travels wow it just doesnt get old.

Hey everyone we are in Malaga!!! It has been awesome here, beach ,partying and sight seeing!!!! So much fun. It has been awesome!! We´ve stayed these 3 night at Sarah´s place with all the College girls from UCSD!!! So much fun!! We´ve gone out dancing everynight!!!The girls here have such a sweet set up!!! The are in the middle of everything and they have the top floor so we have a balcony that overlooks the city! We´ve had bbq´s and fiestas!! Me and emilio decided to skip Ibiza. We are in fact today leaving back to Madrid to meet up with our Australian friend. And then leaving the morining after to BARCELONAAAAAAAAAA!! To meet up with the group of Brazilian girls. We´ve been in contact and we are trying to book the same hostel as them!!! So if it all goes to plan we should be in Barcelona the 30th!! We will spend i think 4-5 night there forsure!!!! No pictures because this PC does not allow me. Hope all is well we are going to freshen up in the medditeranian before we get on a train to Madrid!!! That is if i can wake up emilio!!! Hey there we are about to leave to tour sevilla and then leaving to Malaga. oK so we missed the train yesterday to sevilla and cancelled one of the nights we had reserved. We walked back to our old holstel.. and trhe guy there that managed the hostel was argentinian... and so he hooked us upppp and let us just chill in the lobby all day and put our packs in a safe place and also take a shower and stuff ... just so we didn´t have 2 pay for the night..... so we killed time walked around a toured some more... and we went out to this club.. really fancyyyyy opening day.... seriously me and emilio came to an agreenment that we had never seen so beatiful girls in one single club.. omggggggggggg crazyyyyy.... pluis the musicc was soooooooooo good.... we started the night at the hostel club ..... lots of people there...we left at 1 30 to the club and we stayed there untill 6 and walked back to the hostel got our packs and walked to the train station... our train to sevilla left at 8 am...so we slept for a little bit in the station...and the got really fast train soo it took 2 hrs... and then we just walkede and took the bus... and we are now here in the lobby in the hostel waited for our room to be cleaned and we are going to sleeppppppp... we will tour in the afternoon... by far the CRAZIEST NIGHT!!! of the trip. i can´t explain how crazy last nights club was .... and the musicc i´m going to repeat it sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo gooooooooooooooooooooooooood the dj was sick.... i talked to him and got some names of artist he had played during the night!!!... mostly house techno music... amazingggg.. anyways ..we´ll keep you updated.... we can post pictures in this hostel.. but there isn´t any to post we will take in the afternoon and postttttt later tonight... hope all is good.... dad i got a card to call anywere in the world soooo i will calllll you.... abrazooo much love joacooooooooooo

Hola a todos. Yesterday we toured Madrid some more, we walked to the plaza mayor and other streets on our way to the cathedral and el palacio real. the palacio real was incredible, i want to say the most impressive building ive ever seen. each room was decorated in gold and paintings, you talk about a nice place to live. After we toured the palace we walked gran via which is an awesome street, madrid is full of really cool looking building with little streets running through, kinda like london in a way. We also walked to the monument that goes over the road i dont remember the name its right by el parque de buen retiro. we ate and relaxed in the park which was awesome, super relaxing , full of gardens and a lake, similar to central park. After some grub their we headed back to the hostel to say goodbye and we spent the rest of the day at luis and moniquitas house in the suburbs of madrid in a nice house with a pool and trampoline. It was nice to get away from the hostel life for a day and be able to eat and drink as much as we wanted. We left their house a little after noon and were looking forward to catching the train to sevilla little did we know that the eurail thing we had wasnt an actual ticket and since the Sevilla soccer team had a game last night, a final del copa del rey here in madrid all the trains are booked so we returned here to cats hostel. lucky for us we made friends with an argentinian guy here and he´s letting us leave our bags here while we do our thang and go out for the night. we arent paying for a night here but rather going out dancing till late and we have an early train ride tomorrow to sevilla. We hit our first notch in the road but i knew it would come and you have to adjust. peace, Emilio

I´m exausted we are in Luis´s house sooo nice to in a homeeeeee. I must say i had a wild night night yesterday.. i came back to the hostel at 6 30 , i went to this 7 story club.. crazyyyyyyyyy diff musac in the every floorrrr... insaneeeeee i wish you guys could have seen it!!!!.. anyways wild night i am on 4 hrs of sleep...but iss alll gooddddddd... emilio decided to rest lasty night... respecttttttttt!! borat would say....we leave to sevilla tomorrow at noon... Last night we hit up the club seen and we were finally satisfied. We went to El Palacio gavicio on international student night so there were people from everywhere. We had a good time did some dancing and went back to the hostel at about 3 30. Today we first went and visited the museum del Prado, we saw some awesome art by Valezquez, El greco, Goya etc. We walked from there all the way up the main road in Madrid and we took a tour of the Real Madrid Stadium which was actually really cool and just last weekend they had won the Cup for the best club team in Spain. After that we spent some time with Moniquita, the wife of Luis who we sat and talked with for awhile. She is really nice and hot actually, she showed us around a little and we found a place to stay tomorrow night since we only have one more night here at the Hostel. We plan on going out again tongiht for some more dancing. Tomorrow we plan on touring Madrid some more by visiting El parque de buen retiro, el thyssen museum which has a special on Van Gogh and el palacio real. We then are invited for dinner and we will be staying with Luis and the family who are actually friends with the Beckhams. Ya thats right David Beckham. I guess their kid is friends with his and they also live in a community where a lot of the soccer players live. Moniquita was telling us today that her son got to play pass with Beckham, Ronaldo and Zidane there close to their house. RIDICULOUS!
Papa i have some questions and also for people who have been to Spain.
I heard that there was an amazing castle in Granada so i was wondering about that. Also we are considering not going to Croatia becuase of the amount of travel days we have with Eurail so we will see and try our best to make it there. Papa can you please buy 2 tickets to the Rock the Bells concert for me and skylar on ticketmaster.com its in san bernardino at the orange something stadium they should be 76 each. We will be able to post pictures tomorrow at Luis´s house everywhere else we have tried has been a bitch. I hope all is well cuz it is here in Madrid!

Hey everyone we are at Gatwick International Airport all checked in, just waiting for our flight to Madrid. I can't post pictures still but they will come hopefully today!! So last night we went out clubbin... The club we went into didn't have people our age. But we danced for a little while, took some shots. Basically we decided that London may not be the place to go clubbin. So we walked around and tried finding another club. But it didn't happen.We had takin a nap earlier, so when we got to our hostel we decided to go out and take some night shots with the camera. 1st Stop Emilio's Journal - LONDON

Hello Everyone!

the plane ride was long but we made it to London. The real trip was what to do from there. We ended up spending about an hr and half trying to get out of there. We finally caught the train and have since enjoyed london. the city is very unique, seems like a maze with all the buildings and streets. Its a happening place id say a mix of Buenos Aires and New york. We have been doing a lot site seeing-big ben, the soho area, st. pauls cathedral, tower bridge, hyde park, green park, the bucklingham palace where we saw them change the gaurds..the ones that you can fuck with and there not supposed to move. We also checked out the natural history museum here which was pretty cool not quite like new york but in a really nice building. Everything here is just so dam old so it makes it that much better. We got PB and J's to grub on cuz everything is so dam expensive here. A mcdonalds happy meal is like 9 bucks. At first we felt completly lost especially on how to get around but i figured out the subway system quick and now we got it down. i think we have probably seen all the things to see here in London and were gonna go enjoy the night life tonight before we head to Madrid tomorrow. Stay up and we will update, the hostel is cool but not cool enough to be able to post pics so they will come.

1st Stop Joaquin's Journal - LONDON

Soooo we made it !!! The flight was horrible... Too longggg... But anyways soo funny.. we get to London... and we were soooooo lost... we spent about an hour trying to find out what the hell we should do?.. Okay it is soooo hard to understand what these british people sayyy....haha.. So after an hour at least!!!! at the airpost we finally get someone that tells us that we need to take the train to downtown LONDON... about 30 min... and so the train dropped us off about 4 blocks away from our Hostil. The Hostil is awesome... we thought it would be much more ghettoooo.... So we dropped off our stuff in the room and headed out to tour the town !!!! We went to Big Ben, Parliment Square, Soho, London Eye and London Bridge!!! Oh and St. Pauls chapel witch by the way is exacly 100 yards away from the door of our hostil!!... After that we came back and passed out for 2 hrs!! After our nap we left again for a little walk around town! We stoped by the super market and bought : 2 apples, the cheapest breat possible, jelly, and peanut butter. Soooo expensiveeeeeee!!! Damn I wanna leave already.. haha... So we left the supermarket and it started raining on us... By the was we've been buying the Day Traveler Card for 5 £ you can go on any bus or any underground train in the city!!! So sickkkkkkk those things gooo fastttt!!!!.. We took some sik shotsssss!!! This computer sucksssssssss you can't post photosss... We will post when we get to madrid. Okay so we get back with our groceries and we eat some sandwiches. By then it was about 10 pm.. So we find out were the action is all at... Soho! Thats were its at!!! We took the train out to Soho.. and we walked all kinds mann.. all kinds of bars and clubs.. For 5£ you could get in any club basically... We considered getting alc but a little bottle at the super market was 10£ witch is 30 dollars and we were like uuuuu noooo.. This is not happenin... So we got denied so many times last night... Basically because of me ... i turn 18 in like 12 hrs... but they wouldn't let me in.... We tried getting in at the Casinos 2 double up our money but they were all private and I had white shoes and emilio had jeans.. soooo we got denied... The only love we got from anyone last night was from a stripper out side a strip club that talked to us and tried to get to go in....but we didn't ... Also we had 2 guys tried to sell us crack ... But thats here nor there. Okay i gotta hurry cuz my time is running out.... So we got back ... from Soho.. at about 12 30... and went inside our hostil and i got my tripod and the camera and we went out for night city walk/ night shots..... they are sooo sickkkkk... but i can't show you anything cuzz this computer suckssssssss... After that we crashed... And woke up 8 30 for breakfast. At about 9 45 we left and went 2 Tower Bridge and then 2 Beckilng Ham Palace and saw the guards change.. and then 2 green park and Hide park and the Natural History museum.... sik day.. and we came back... and now we are writing this journal.... we will keep you updated... We are clubbin toniteee consideringgggg that it will be my birthdate at exactly 12 : 01 am.... sooo hope is everything is good in sb..... we'll keep updating... laterrrrrrr Joaquin

We Graduated!!!! We made it !!!! Gradnite was awesome!!!! Europe here we come!!!! Its Sunday June 17th and we are both packing! We leave tomorrow 5 AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
